A global network of outstanding business partners.
Each and every day our teams ashore and on board collaborate with external stakeholders around the world. We carefully select our business partners based on their ethos, rigor, transparent business practices and long-term focus.
Our in-house chartering brokers work closely with competitive brokers and charterers around the world to ensure the profitable and timely employment of the vessels managed by our three management companies. The operations teams cooperate with port agents to support the vessels during their operations, as well as with bunkers’ brokers and suppliers to make sure bunkers are procured in a safe and economical manner.
Our insurance team has long-standing ties with major marine underwriters around the world as well as with International Group P&I Clubs to ensure the managed fleet is covered against marine losses and third-party liabilities with underwriters and Clubs of high credit rating at reasonable prices. Purchasing operators collaborate with hundreds of suppliers globally so that vessels are always equipped with the necessary provisions and spare parts.
The newbuildings team and superintendent engineers work on site with shipyards on the construction of newbuildings and the dry docking of vessels, respectively. Marine superintendents liaise with external auditors, classification societies, and regulatory bodies to ensure all vessels fully comply with Health, Safety, Security, Quality, Energy and Environmental Protection rules and regulations.
Our Safety and Quality teams ensure that the Safety and Environmental requirements of our clients are met or even exceeded. By being in close contact with our clients’ vetting departments, we ensure the approval status and commercial flexibility of the vessels.
Our finance team has close ties with major banks in different geographies to safeguard adequate funding for our principals’ investments in vessels.
Thenamaris is committed to developing long-standing partnerships and win-win relationships with all external collaborators who fulfill our strict criteria and match our high professional standards.
