Established in 1972, Thenamaris Ships Management Inc. (Thenamaris) has safely and profitably grown and diversified its vessels under management throughout its history.
Today, Thenamaris manages a large and diverse fleet of modern tankers that includes Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC), Suezmax, Aframax and MR2 tankers carrying a full range of wet cargoes in every major commercial area of the world.

Thenamaris ConBulk Fleet
Bulk carriers and containerships designed to carry all major cargoes.
Thenamaris ConBulk Inc. was established in 2020 to facilitate focus on the management of the containerships and bulk carriers, which until the establishment of Thenamaris ConBulk were managed by Thenamaris together with the company’s tanker fleet of vessels.
The bulk carrier fleet under management comprises high specification Newcastlemax, Capesize, Kamsarmax, grab-fitted Ultramax and grab-fitted Supramax bulk carriers. Thenamaris ConBulk also manages two modern, high quality, well-maintained 5,000 TEU containerships.

Thenamaris LNG Fleet
High specification LNG and LPG carriers.
Thenamaris LNG Inc. was established in 2011, marking a strategic diversification into the gas segment of the shipping industry. The first high-specification new LNG carriers joined the Thenamaris LNG managed fleet in 2013, with new LPG carriers joining in 2017. Since then, Thenamaris LNG has continued to grow its managed fleet of both LNG and LPG carriers.

Newbuildings
Thenamaris is currently overseeing the construction of eleven newbuildings. The newbuildings being managed have a total capacity of over one million and seventy seven tons deadweight and include ten tankers and one bulk carrier. To carry out the construction of these new vessels we are collaborating with globally recognized shipyard Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding in Vietnam, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co Ltd. and Jiangsu New Yangzi in China. The newbuilding process is supervised by highly skilled teams selected by Thenamaris who work on site and report to the newbuildings team at the company’s headquarters in Athens.Learn more
