Thenamaris is currently overseeing the construction of six tanker newbuildings. The newbuilding process is supervised by highly skilled teams selected by Thenamaris who work on site and report to the newbuildings team at the company’s headquarters in Athens.
Five LR2 newbuildings are currently being managed. These tankers will comply with the latest industry requirements and are equipped with scrubbers and various energy-saving technologies for optimum performance. The vessels will be delivered in 2025.
One MR2 newbuilding is being managed. This tanker will be equipped with a scrubber, Framo cargo pumps, and various energy-saving technologies for optimum performance. The vessel will be delivered in 2025.
To carry out the construction of these new tankers, we are collaborating with globally recognized shipyards Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding in Vietnam, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in China, and Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in China.
