Managing risk and focusing on results
Our commercial strategy employs a combination of spot and time charters to capture upside opportunities and mitigate downside risks. While spot market returns are less stable, such charters enable owners of ocean-going vessels to realize the benefits of important cost-saving initiatives, particularly in the area of energy management.

Thenamaris
Established in 1972, Thenamaris Ships Management Inc. (Thenamaris) has safely and profitably grown and diversified its vessels under management throughout its history.
Today, Thenamaris manages a large and diverse fleet of modern tankers that includes Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC), Suezmax, Aframax and MR2 tankers carrying a full range of wet cargoes in every major commercial area of the world.

Thenamaris LNG
Thenamaris LNG Inc. was established in 2011, marking a strategic diversification into the gas segment of the shipping industry. The first high-specification new LNG carriers joined the Thenamaris LNG managed fleet in 2013, with new LPG carriers joining in 2017. Since then, Thenamaris LNG has continued to grow its managed fleet of both LNG and LPG carriers.

Thenamaris ConBulk
Thenamaris ConBulk Inc. was established in 2020 to facilitate focus on the management of the containerships and bulk carriers, which until the establishment of Thenamaris ConBulk were managed by Thenamaris together with the company’s tanker fleet of vessels. Thenamaris ConBulk manages a fleet of modern, high quality, bulk carriers ranging in size from Newcastlemax to Ultramax vessels trading a wide variety of cargoes around the world. Thenamaris ConBulk also manages a small number of modern containerships.
